Week 25: Things are getting BUSY!!

Shower Planning is underway…how exciting!! Two are planned so far and another is underway. My Mom will get to come out to Lubbock to host one in early July!! Unfortunately there won’t be any East Coast showers, but I’ll be sure to post all the details and pictures form the ones in Lubbock.

Nursery Plans are also coming along. I have amazaginly talented friends who can paint, sew, and do all sorts of cretaive, crafty thing. I hope to have it painted soon, so that when Mom come out we can do some actual decorating :) Be on the look out for new pictures!

Keep the baby name suggestions coming…I’m narrowing down a name now!! I hope to have one picked out (but not tell anyone) by the time the nursery gets done. I want to do some personalization in the baby’s room.

This week the baby is almost 2 pounds and just under 10 inches long. She is able to do more with her fingers now and can move them to make a complete fist. She is able to touch and hold her feet. She will also begin to prefer her left hand or right hand at this time. Because babies settle into their own routines of sleep and activity, I can feel lots more movement now. She wakes Mommy up really early these days.
