Week 28: The 3rd Trimester is here!

Can you believe there’s less than 12 weeks to go?!

The baby, who this week weighs in at about two and a half pounds and stands — or rather lies — at almost 16 inches (measured head to toe) has added blinking, coughing, and more intense sucking to her growing bag of tricks.

Baby girl (who will have a name soon, I promise) is now sleeping and waking at normal intervals. Generally, my activity throughout the day will lull her to sleep, and being sedentary at night gives her a chance to wake up and be active!

I’m currently taking a water aerobics class 3 times a week and LOVE it!! It feels so good to get some relief from the heat and the extra weight I’m carrying around. Amanda and I are still walking and hope to add swimming to the rotation this week. Who knew I’d like to work out so much while pregnant…crazy…huh?
