Week 30: 10 more weeks (at most)

The baby’s lungs and digestive tract are almost fully developed. While baby girl may soon slow up growing in length, (she’s about 17 inches right now), she will continue to gain weight; about 1/2 pound a week until she’s born.

My doctor (who goes on maternity leave in 2 weeks) plans to induce me on September 4th, unless I deliver earlier…so the end is in sight. Only 10 more weeks!!

My awesome friends, Joe and Toni & Gary, worked on the nursery all day on Saturday…it looks great. We need one more work day (Friday) and then pics will be added. Once my Mom and Barbara get here, we will decorate and arrange furniture. Baby girl will be living in style in that room

Speaking of style…I also got a car this week! A Chevy Trailblazer! It’s perfect for me and the baby. Nice, roomy, and comfortable. My beloved Jeep finally died on me.
